How to collaborate

The TUM Center for Quantum Engineering (ZQE) is an interdisciplinary hub connecting researchers from physics, electrical engineering, chemistry, mathematics, and computer science. We welcome collaborations with academic partners who share our goal of bridging fundamental quantum phenomena and their engineering applications.

Scientific collaborations

We are open to joint research projects across all areas of quantum science and engineering — from magnetism and spin dynamics to nanomechanics and topological quantum matter. Collaborations can range from informal scientific exchange and shared experiments to joint publications and coordinated third-party funded projects.

Our research groups are embedded in the Munich quantum ecosystem, including the Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology (MCQST), and maintain active partnerships with research institutions worldwide.

Get in touch

If you are interested in collaborating with one of our groups, please contact the group leaders directly — you can find them on our People page. For general inquiries about the ZQE, please contact us at managingdirector@zqe.tum.de.
